do pnm's almost always get bids from sororities?

Not all PNMs are guaranteed a bid to a house by the end of all the rounds, but most girls will definitely get asked back to at least a couple houses after the first round. Even if you don't love the houses you get asked back to, I'd recommend you give them at least two rounds, because sometimes houses can surprise you!

Let’s say every house has room to recruit 44 people for their new pledge class (175, the PHC quota, divided by 4). This means that at least 836 girls will get bids. I think Sigma Kappa is coming back in the fall so that number might be 880. For the 23s, there were about 1200 that started formal recruitment, but a lot dropped. You’d probably get a bid from at least AEPhi, they’re very open.
