can i do informal first semester next year? i’m thinking about studying abroad second semester and really don’t want to go through formal again

Yes some houses do rolling bids after formal recruitment is over. IIRC the interview process can be similar to formal open house, or chiller where you grab coffee/ lunch with a girl. not every house does this tho and a lot of times it’s a lot of girls competing for a few spots
