greek system

by: TRUE

The whole greek system is messed up this year. The lower houses got better girls than some of the top houses. RIP Theta, Tridelt, and Kappa you will be missed.

No the Greek system is not failing. Maybe you should see that houses are looking beyond the superficial and looking at girls holistically. PS while guys care what looks like only, sororities care about the whole person. Grown up.

The Greek system is on its way out. Too expensive and nobody wants to pay for friends anymore.

The switch will definitely happen next year, especially since DZ is getting a new house and the other bottom houses aside from phi mu and aephi did really good this year. Just wait and see. i’m excited to see how everything turns out

PLEASE....ultimately, Greek life is about tradition...family and sisterhood and decades of membership. Theta, Kappa and Tri Delta have a century of tradition behind them—that’s many legacies, wealthy alumnae and lots and lots of OLD MONEY; that’s something lots of make-up, fake designer bags and glitter selfies can’t hope to top.

So, Honey, go on and whine about your “big tier shift”—tradition and solid financial support will win out every time! You have yourself a nice day and keep dreaming of your delusions.

Every chapter here has been in existence at least 100 years give or take a few years. Some have gone and come back, but nationally ALL of these chapters are 100-150 years old not just the 3 mentioned in these posts. They ALL have tradition, family, sisterhood, legacies, financial backing behind them. So your argument is irrelevant. Other schools actually consider other qualities besides looks and money when talking about sororities. They look at grades and how involved they are on campus, the classiness of the members, and how they act around each other. If we start doing this, then yes there will be a tier shift.
