Stop blaming chi o for giving oral bids. the only people complaining are people who are mad that they weren't given bids, chi o isn't even one of the big oral bid houses.

Freshman girls are only 18, they have limited decision making experience/skills. For a sorority to lie to them with a Fake Bid and have them rely on this bid when they cut other sororities, then find they are cut late after believing they had a Bid. Then they are required to pick a remaining sorority they are not interested in or go independent.

This selfish strategy makes Chi Omega EVIL.

For acknowledging this EVIL practice by the Chi Os. Lets all hope this will embarrass them from continuing it.

Now, if a vulnerable 18 year old receives 2 verbal bids, she will spend her time and attention on those two sororites. Listing them as finals until they cut her late. Then in a state of frantic shock, she must scramble to get a snap bid or else independence.

Chi Omega Stop this EVIL Practice on these genuine wonderful girls.

All sororities must stop giving verbal bids. Unless they give the pledge an actual written bid to accept at finals. Snap bids shall be in a written form as well. Pledges should report non-documented verbal bids to the university.

that chi omega actually is on here defending themselves for breaking the rules is honestly ridiculous. I hope they get caught and then learn their lesson. its against the rules to promise a bid FOR A REASON.
