What does it mean for a soroity to have a housing requirement of "active sister" or "on campus?"

Every sorority has a house in oak lane (on campus) and every sorority requires you to live in the house for atleast 1 year. Idk if that answers your question

Every sorority has a different requirement. Most fill housing on a volunteer basis, then use a lottery system if there are still spaces. There are ways out of housing.
