Loyola University Chicago - LUC 3.3 Greek life has amped up in the past years. Sorority rush cuts a fair amount of people, with a good amount not getting bids and even more only getting bottom houses. Frat rush is also competitive but less so. There’s usually a frat party each weekend from someone. No on campus housing but frats get around that. Seems like most people enjoy Greek life overall.

Loyola University Chicago - LUC 3.3 It’s hard to put the sororities and fraternities together because they operate very differently here. Sorority rush does not cut anyone, there are LOTS of girls in each house, and there really is no even “off-campus” type house. The fraternities have a normal amount of guys, everyone knows everyone, they’re are actually fairly competitive to get into, and most of them have an off-campus house that they throw parties at. Overall, I’d say the frat system is a lot stronger here than the sorority system.

Loyola University Chicago - LUC 3.5 Greek life here is a lot better than most schools. Big student involvement and even though there are no houses it doesn’t make it any less than other schools. They parties aren’t great but Loyola is located in a city so what can you do.
