Compared to UNC, ECU, and NCSU the greek life is not something to rave about. Sure, there are groups for you to make lifelong friends there. There are groups to get involved in, although not not super involved on campus. The school is small compared to others so that is a noticeable factor. There isn't even a formal rush. Both fall and spring are informal where usually at other schools there is a formal fall rush. In Western's own way I guess the greek life is OK. When it is compared to other schools it misses the mark. I hope that Western's greek life evolves into something better, but as of now that's only something that time can tell.
