AOII was originally at SC IP till the 60s. Jeff I Parker who transferred to SC from Arizona asked Panhellenic to reinstate the chapter, and then as a member of the SC band, recruited women. The house was recognized in the late 70s with women who were 1st in their field of study. National never informed the alumni that the house was struggling and they were thinking of shutting it down again. The members of the chapter were furious and many turned their back on AOII because they felt betrayed. The house that National said would be built never was, and the house we had was bulldozed and sold to the Thetas to be used as a parking lot for them. It would be REALLY nice if a chapter was recognized at SC, but the price tag a few years ago was 10 million. AOII was at UCLA, Stanford & Berkeley. National made a big mistake
