Another piece of advice is to be happy with whatever house you get. Don't just be all mopey and expect them to do all the work to make you like it. (In other words, don't JUST "give them a chance.") Launch yourself into the sorority and do everything you can to learn about the sorority and it's members. I got one of my least favorite houses and now I can't see myself anywhere else. You're in charge of your own happiness!
