I know an OOS girl who had a stellar resume (4.0 unweighted GPA, all the extra curriculars including cheerleading, NHS, tons of volunteer work)and was a legacy. A bit shy and overweight, she got cut by all but 3 after the first round, to one the second and then out. It was brutal! She was absolutely devastated.
