Here's a brief list of fashion necessities that a typical Alabama sorority girl would have in her closet... - Chacos/Tivas - Columbia/Patagonia rain jacket - Norts - Nike Free tennis shoes - Gladiator-style feminine sandals (Rainbows seem to be making a comeback too!) - Rain boots (Hunter, Coach, etc.) - Pearl earrings - Watch (Michael Kors is more popular but I've seen other designers) - Aviator, Wayfarer, and Oversized style sunglasses While you do have the freedom to wear whatever you'd like after bid day, it is highly recommended that you have these items if you want to blend in with the Greek community and trends. Some girls may think it's weird if you wear normal clothes instead of proudly promoting your organization and Greek life as a whole. This is a school of tradition, heritage, and legacy.
