The best houses, location wise are the ones on 16th, the closer to the union the better so for sororities it's pretty much APhi, AOPi, Theta, Gamma Phi, and Pi Phi, for fraternities I would say Phi Psi, Delt, Sig Ep, and SAE. Based on exterior, Kappa and APhi are really pretty, AXO is nice from the outside, and I think Gamma Phi and Theta look like the biggest. For frats, Beta is definitely the best, but Phi Psi is nice and Sig Ep isn't bad. Interior is really anyone's guess, all the sororities are going to be fairly neat and most of the frats are a little too musty. A house can be beautiful inside and out, but you have to be comfortable with the way it's set up. (Open air vs not)
