Top---
Sig Chi, DU, Sig Phi, Sig Pi, AD
-Mix mainly with C4. Lot's of athletes and wealth. Exclusive parties.
Upper---
Chi Phi, Chi Psi, DX, Llenroc, Lambda, TDX
-Mix mainly with mid tier and sometimes C4. Lot's of athletes and wealth. Less exclusive than the top houses.
Mid---
Fiji, ZBT, Pi Kapp, Phi Sig, Pike, Sammy, DKPsi
-Mix with lower and mid tier. Some athletes and wealth. Known for large open parties and bigways.
Lower---
Phi Tau, Kappa Sig, AGR, Phi Delt, Zeta Psi, AEPi
-Mix mainly with lower tier. Basically no athletes. Hit/miss open parties. Generally pretty friendly.
Bottom---
Beta, DTD, Rockledge, TKE, Acacia, KDR
-Sometimes mix with lower tier. Similar to lower tier, but they host smaller events. Also, pretty friendly groups.
Specialty Frats---
Seal & Serpent, AZ, ALM, SCD
-Either don't belong to the IFC or serve as special interest frats. No mixing, but they're content with doing their own thing.

Never understood why sig chi is undisputed top house. They’re a great house but some of the kids are weird af and it’s far away from everything.

What makes sig chi so special besides their national rep and old rep at Cornell? A lot of their kids are not as cool as old PCs used to be, are always in trouble with Cornell or Nationals, and they lost 118 (literally one of the main reasons people liked them). They're a good house, but they’re not THE top house anymore.

Sig Chi is and has been the top house at Cornell for the past decade. If you get a bid from Sig Chi, you take that bid. DU and Sig Phi are decent, but they're not Sig Chi. AD used to be there with Sig Chi, but they compete with the latter frats now. Also, no one joins Sig Pi over the other four frats. Sig Pi is borderline top tier and the little stunt they pulled might drop them down to upper.

I agree with you, but the rank here is good. The experience for the top 5 frats is about the seem. Having more than 5 or 6 tiers is needless

I know a lot of kids who have joined sig pi over the other 4 in the past...just depends what your vibe is. If you're a 6'3 daddy's money finance bro sig pi is for you!

I find issue with how you say "If you get a bid from [a house] you take that bid." The idea that one should automatically accept one over another contradicts the essence of greek life itself, which ultimately comes down to fit and friendship.

Generally yes, but Ik kids in dx and llenroc that turned down chi psi bids. Dont know many people in tdx, so cant speak for that frat
