On average how many bids do people usually receive from fraternities? Do people usually just receive bids from one or two fraternities? and are there some people who go through rush and end up not getting a bid from a fraternity?

Of guys who go thru rush don't get a bid

If you're a goofy lookin dude without annny connections it's tough. If you know any people and are a decent looking, guy you'll get a few

For connections can it be a letter of rec from an older member, or does it have to be with an active?

By connections he means people in the fraternity that you know that can help introduce you to the actives and put in a good word
