Srats rant- you’ve been warned

I joined my sorority because my friends told me it was “top” and everyone from my high school is in it. Yes, I’m from atl area but won’t say where. It’s awful and I may drop. It’s just the same drama brought to college. Should have gone with my heart.

I know three Buckhead private school girls who were rushed hard by several chapters and all three went to pref with one of the so-called 'top' houses and one other that this site calls 'mid' or 'upper mid' or whatever, different combos of 'top' and 'mid' for each girl. All three went with their gut and put their 'mid' pref house as their number one and got it. They are loving their chapters and their sorority life, none of them have the slightest regret, and all hang out with both their sorority sisters and their high school friends in other chapters. To say that there are a few chapters better than others is ridiculous - the members are not better, the chapter is not better, what they do and how they live is not better.
