spring parties

So I got my acceptance letter to Ole Miss a few days ago and I plan on rushing and people told me to go to the spring parties to start networking. The only problem is I'm black, will I look out of place at the parties or is it fine?

the people that care that you're black aren't people you want to hang out with anyway. that being said, Greek life has opened up a lot, and in my experience, no one really cares about race anymore. all of Greek life is beginning to diversify.

This is hopeful but false. You may be screwed. Up north and out west most don't care though. Wait till you get some more acceptance letters before you decide
