it's not any different than any other year. they never believe they won't be the ones getting preffed by the good houses or not getting a bid. weather just shortened the usual process.

Same o is right. Every year lots of girls are in tears. Weather does not change the fact that each house only has so many spots and way more girls go through than there are spots for. A painful process every year.

In 1987 5000 girls rushed for 600 spots. It is way better now then it used to be. Wearer has not changed the fact that it hurts to be cut.

that is quite the exaggeration
biggest rush ever was Alabama with 2,000

No school has ever had anywhere near 5000 PNMs.

you crazy. Alabama had 2000+ and I think so did Arizona. Where else? Ole Miss? Arkansas? Not sure. But never ever 5000 anywhere. Why you keep saying that?

I'm sorry but that is too hard to believe. IU never had 5000 PNM go through rush. That # is more accurate at the Southern Schools....Bama, Ole Miss, Arkansas, Auburn, UTexas-Austin, South Carolina and maybe Mizzori, but definitely not IU.

Bama had 2000 Fall 2013, Arkansas had PCs of 150+ in Fall 2012,before adding Phi Mu and AXO, even after adding those they had 110 for the top 4 houses and 130+ for the remaining 6.

IU, come into the 21st century. Bed rush is so 19402-50s.

people can still live in the house without bed rush. It works via a points system, at EVERY OTHER SCHOOL.

Just face it. We're the elite. We like living in the house and having small PCs and knowing all of our sisters. Bitter Betties every year will never understand our bond. We are not like other schools. We are better.

Seriously who really wants to live in senior year. After 2 yrs in house, it's time to get out and get an appartment with friends and experience non house rules, have guys over etc. it's prep work for the following year when we graduate.... point systems work if your really are jonesing to still live in senior year.

We all love living in the house for three years! Just because you didn't doesn't mean we should get kicked out. Leave our way of doing things alone. You just don't understand.

In the fall Bama had the largest recruitment ever in the country at 2214 PNMs. There were tons of tears. It's just part of the process. No one ever thinks they are going to get cut.
