disaffiliation/re-rush?

I really feel like I joined the wrong house. Is it possible to disaffiliate from one and rush/pledge again?

if you drop while you are a pledge, you can re-rush and join a new house in the spring. But if you are an active brother and drop, most houses won't let you rush

It's super difficult if not entirely prohibited to join a different fraternity once you're initiated.
