How likely is it to not get a bid? Do all girls usually get bids?

i think ive heard that "a bid is guaranteed from somewhere"... i think it works out to where even if its not your first choice you will still be offered a bid from at least one house.

also there are sororities that don't do formal recruitment and one that is going to be new next year, and i'm pretty sure its the type of thing where if you walk up to the doors and say you want to join, they invite you to.

so if you don't get a bid from anywhere (which i don't think happens anyway) walk up to one of the smaller chapters and they will welcome you with open arms. if you don't get into a house you love, you can rush again next year or stick with it. chances are you'll find best friends and a rewarding experience.

yes they are new and i have no idea about their rush process whether it will be the same or more like an open house
