Beta Theta Pi, the house that AOPi is currently living in, are suspended until 2015. For the past two years, Beta allowed AOPi to rent their house temporarily as their house was going to be built. It turns out that AOPi is not the next in line to get a house as we learned this last year when they never broke ground for their house. AOPi is supposed to be behind Kappa Delta in the order of getting a house. Kappa Delta is not coming to Purdue until 2015. Assuming that Kappa Delta's house will start to break ground shortly after they arrive, it will take at least a year before it's complete and anyone is allowed to live in it. Until then, AOPi is not allowed to break ground for a house, which means that they probably won't have a house until 2017 at the very earliest. Because Beta is coming back next year they're ending the lease they gave to AOPi and AOPi will no longer have a house to live in for a number of years. All members will have to live in the dorms or an apartment just like they had to when they first came on campus.

Purdue is trying to put new houses as far away as possible (intramural fields/airport area) so Kappa Delta, AOPi, SDT, etc. are most likely going to be in those locations.

Summary: AOPi is not going to have a house for a few years until another sorority comes on campus and builds theirs.

This is not true and KD is behind AOII in securing an area for land. And no one will have a house for a few years because land is expensive and no one wants to sell

Either way, AOII has been seriously lying to PNMs apparenty which is not cool.

AOII has never said during Fall 2014 recruitment that they were getting a house. the only people that have said that are other Greeks who don't know what the hell they're talking about and just like to put AOII down because they live in the house of a fraternity that got themselves kicked off campus.

If AOII cannot secure housing for the next school year, they will be finding alternative housing accommodations for their members.
