rushing a sorority as a sophomore

I'll be rushing in the Fall as a sophomore. I was wondering how likely it is that I'd get a bid from a higher tier house if I don't have friends in those sororities. My GPA is probably average and I was pretty involved around campus during my Freshman year.

there is a quota for girls who are sophomores, so each house has to let some in
