I have two friends in tri delta, and they both complain that they feel really uncomfortable around their ‘sisters’... They say it’s a competitive mean-girl environment, and that everyone in there is stuck-up with terrible personalities. They’ve been talking about wanting to drop all semester, and I am sad for them because they seem miserable... This is a group of mean girls and everyone deserves a warning before going through rush. Not sure why anyone would say they have a top tier status, or where that comes from... I don’t think anyone feels that way about them except for themselves.

As you can see from all of these posts, these are some of the meanest and most stuck-up girls on campus. Everyone can see this, and people do not want to be friends with them / be associated with them except for tri delts themselves and a very select branch of frat guys who only care about looks and status. Do we still consider these girls top tier considering what characterizes them? What defines the tiers then?

They are so predictable with selecting new members, which isn’t a good thing. Unsure why their reputation is top tier because they are cliquish and not very inclusive

the fact that this sorority is considered “top tier” but has so many negative comments said about them is just sad. yes i’m sure there are some nice tri delts out there but every time someone talks about them you just hear things like “fake, elitist, daddy’s money” and that’s just not what you want out of life. hope these girls grow up one day and realize not everything’s about them.

I can already predict who will end up in this sorority and that is not a good thing. The tri delts like to think they are all unique and quirky in a cool way, but they are honestly so bland and their pc's are so predictable. Rich, well connected girls from out of state or a feeder school can expect a bid.

These girls are always nice and liven any room they’re in. I know plenty of girls in this group who aren’t the “daddy’s money” stereotype and are actually some of the most genuine people I know

Didn’t realize having a raspy voice and looking like a high schooler was a desirable trait but the good news is if you have both of those you’re a shoe in for DDD

One of their sisters called me a "cheeky fellow", hope everyone else isn't that rude and offensive.

The friends that I have in Tri Delta are told WAY too often by others that they don’t “act like they’re Tri Delts,” because they’re nice people, and I feel like that’s sad. A “top tier” sorority should be a group worth emulating, and the rep should not be a bunch of conceited mean girls. Also, don’t bother rushing if you’re in state, you won’t get a bid.
