SAE/Phi Delt: top houses. full of more stereotypical looking fraternity men
Pike/FIJI: both top houses also, but more like the frat in those jimmy tatro youtube videos
SigEp: before they got kicked off, this was an upper middle to top house that had alot of really involved guys who threw big parties and started to steal away pledges from the 4 listed above. but irrelevant as a group since they're gone.
KA/Beta/Sigma Chi/Lambda: middle tier houses. they all have their own style, and people have preferences based on that.
Kappa Sig: used to be a solid middle tier house a year or two ago, but they have lost alot of members and can't really do much anymore, but there are still groups of cool guys here. definitely not that bad of a house, just really small

Another PIKE poser post to list them between Fiji and SAE. Phi Delt and Pike are struggling to maintain mid-tier status. Both have under 75 members. Pike had a bottom tier pledge class this year with 18 pledges. LXA is the current mid-tier leader at SMU.
SAE, Sigma Chi and Fiji have over 120 members and are the top tier fraternities at SMU. They are all double the size of the mid-tier fraternities.

In actuality...the only houses that fall into your "bottom tier size" ranking is Kappa Sig (for sure) and possibly LXA (They are hovering on the cusp between the two).
Don't use active chapter size a measuring stick, take the quality of the house and what they do into account before sheer numbers.

literally nobody on campus would agree with this statement. Sigma Chi is in the top 5. Lambda is heading the other direction.

lying about Lambda and Pike being bad does not make Sigma Chi better. Sigma Chi already has great guys with the exception of the jackass who lives on this site

Actually Sigma chi has moved up into the conversation at least. Probably with Phi Delt but not quite up with SAE, Fiji Pike. All the others are definitely under Sigma Chi though so if anything it is a group of 5 top houses.

Sigma chi is vastly improved in last two years. They are even with phi delt, and just below Fiji,pike and sae.
Pretty big gap below those five and the others.

Sigma Chi is irrelevant compared to Fiji and Pike. Don't get your panties in a bunch.
