Theta coming back earlier?

by: Hmm

Do you think theta will get to come back earlier than what is said? Or will they have to wait until may 2024

2024 is the EARLIEST. The University and/or Theta Nationals could wait LATER, particular is the former members still on campus do things that might distract from the reorganization (like organizing their own formals, forming an "underground" group, etc.). I was surprised they did not make it four years to make sure all the current girls graduate or transfer.

Let's dedicate our energy to these 3 projects this summer.

1. Establish Fall semester weekly sorority house hosted mixers. 💑
2. Renovate the Sigma Chi chapter house temporary facade. 🏛
3. Financially rescue the Fijis from insolvency. 💲

🗣 Call, e-mail, text, IM or snap your sorority social, officer chairs with your excitement over these projects.

Let's get mov'n sisters! 🚀

Great ideas! 😊

The new concept of afternoon socials with selected fraternities is really resonating down sorority row. These non-alcohol afternoon functions at each sorority house's courtyard, yard or reception areas will be a highlight of the Fall semester. These afternoon socials will bring sober courting gentlemen to our sorority Chapter Houses once a week. 🥰

Next, lets next help the Sigma Chis tear down that old temporary Chapter house facade & replace it with a permanent campus matching Georgian style 3 story portico porch facade with wide columns, wider roof trim and outside accenting window shutters. That widely seen corner Chapter house really needs renovations. 🏛

No Theta's are organizing anything. They don't have to. They have their own friends and social lives and can go to any fraternity party they want to. They don't have to organize. You people are projecting your own desperation out here.

Lol...desperation about what?

I think most of us can agree that at least some of the new-SMU-Theta-alumnae group are feeling desperate that can no longer hold themselves out at being a member of the top sorority on campus, which puts a little crack in their facade on the web or in clubs. The less attractive members will feel it the worst, particularly for social connections, and ability to market themselves as a potential trophy wife.

Sorry to be blunt.

The university and our National Offices will mandate on-campus mixers, parties and other activities for the foreseeable future. That being said, Sororities must step-up financially to host and share in the financial burden for these Greek Life activities. 🙂

Each sorority should step-up & host an afternoon social with a selected fraternity. These socials, now mixers can be non-alcohol afternoon functions at each sorority house at their courtyard, yard or reception areas. This will bring sober courting gentlemen to our Chapter Houses once a week. 😍

The fraternities in turn can host a weekend evening party at their Chapter House with a sorority member date they met at that week’s sorority mixer. 😎

Hope these constructive ideas will bring Greek Life back to the Hilltop this Fall semester. 😊

So what happens now ? Are they gonna spend the rest of the year partying at frats and transferring?

Yeah, that is the likeliest scenario. Probably more will bail to other schools this spring.

If you transfer so you tell people you did blow or gave blow when asked?
