join a sorority based on what you're looking for

Ranking sororities here doesn't really make sense because each have something to offer to everyone. You should join a sorority based specifically on what you're looking for. Obviously, every sorority has falls a little bit into each category, but if you were going to break it down explicitly:
High Social Status- Kappa, Theta, A Phi, DG
Sisters to Party Hard With - DZ, Zeta, DG
Strong Sisterhood- KD, GPhi, Chi O, ADPi, Pi Phi, SigDelt
Sisters With Money- DG, APhi, Kappa, Theta, Zeta
Diversity - AXO, GPhi, Pi Phi, SigDelt, KD
Sisters Who are Down to Earth - Pi Phi, DZ, GPhi, AXO, DDD, SK
Church-Goers- KD, Chi O, Pi Phi (half and half), GPhi (half and half)
Sisters Who Have a Lot of Fun- SK, DDD, AXO, DZ

This is not exactly accurate.
How about strongest academically?
Most visible leaders on campus?
Those are two reasons UVA was selected as a college. In reality, UVA parties are not that great. And money is not accurate at all. Most people with money do not brag. They know they have it and don't need to tell anyone. And high social status falls along the same line as partier.
