I know I shouldn't be on one of these sites before I rush but I was really excited to meet these girls at gobbler fest. They were gorgeous and outgoing but it felt like they weren't even listening to me and only cared about taking pictures and were airheads :( hopefully it was just the ones I talked to

This sorority is an amazing one. The stereotypes from years are ago are not true anymore. These girls are crazy and know how to have a good time. Two of my bestfriends and roomies are in this sorority and never have anything bad to say about their sisterhood. They always have a great time during their philanthropy weeks and are always highly involved and winning other organizations philanthropies. APhi is on the rise and it is about time VT kills all top sororities steroetypes.

Alpha Phi is a toss up. It's either you meet a non judge mental, fun and sweet girl or you meet a boring, stuck up and intolerant one. I have best friends in this chapter who are awesome but they are not representative of the whole sorority. It seems that there is this pressure to be "hot" based on how concerned and self absorbed some girls are with their appearance.

The 5-10 genuinely kind girls I know in Alpha Phi absolutely HATE being in their sorority. Their sisterhood revolves around taking hot pics together in small cliques. My friend talked to them philanthropy round and they KNEW NOTHING about heart health while my friend was telling them about her mom who had heart failure. They are absolutely the worst.
