Remember all freshmen, if you’re POC and you got cut from “top tier” houses, the only reason is because you’re not white. Don’t listen to the cap about personality, connections, coolness or ”values”. This is likely based solely on how white/european-looking you are. Yes, racism is very much alive in berkeley.

The thing is White guys generally just don’t want to hang out with people who don't look like them. or worse, they want to be highly selective in meeting the people who don’t look like them in order to maintain exclusivity.
