How many pledges does each house usually take?

i heard about 40 but some took a hit this year and ya it does have to do with popularity. the top houses will have a good turnout and the bottom ones not so much

Its based on something called campus total. Panhellenic tells each house how many they can have in their pledge class based on how many they have in the house currently and how many every other sorority has. Its to make the houses even and more popular hours don't get all the girls.

All the houses are given the same amount/distribute the same amount of bids during fall. The difference is lower houses tend to have more drops.
