Are those chapter dues, chapter dues plus national dues or do any include meal fees. Some of the fraternities do not have meals so amounts can be deceiving

It differs from each fraternity. Some of those numbers include everything. Others have a separate meal plan that is an additional cost. If you go to the Auburn IFC website, they have a spreadsheet that lays all of that out for you for each fraternity.

list is accurate, at least for my fraternity so I assume it is for all.

As far as what it covers, the price listed for mine covers everything (meals, chapter dues, national, rush etc..) however it does NOT cover if you want to live in house, but obviously thats optional and not require.

This list is good because it gives rushees an idea of what they should expect to pay, and also how big the fraternities are so if they want a smaller or larger they can check out specific ones.

KA has the most expensive dues in Auburn and is the 2nd largest fraternity. How in the heck is is their social schedule so bad? They're literally the lamest, socially, of the large fraternities. Like where is all of that money going?

nobody likes them, they think due to their name they are by default better than any other fraternity, which clearly isn't the case.

Someone says the list is good to judge which you might be interested in - well if one is 2,000 no meals that would be expensive next to the one that is 2,000 and has meals (arbitrary numbers) look at the spreadsheet on IFC site.

This is important to understand. Theta Chi, SAE, and ATO are a few examples that have their meal plans included in their dues listed above. That means you get more bang for your buck with those fraternities. On the other hand, KA, Sig Ep, and Sigma Nu are a few examples that DON'T have their meal plans included, meaning you have to pay a separate fee to eat meals there.

You can see the entire list of fraternity financial plans if you go to the Auburn University IFC page > Resources > Fall 2014 Financial Breakdown

KA used some of it to make Highlander 2 days this year instead of 1. It was still not very fun and not many people went. I think the problem for them is recruitment. The last great KA pledge classes have graduated and their brothers now are very weird and creeps tbh. They should invest more into their rush.
