Why is it ok for a house to decide they don't want a PNM they haven't gotten to know and cut her without giving her a fair chance, but when a PNM decides she doesn't want to be in a certain house she "has a bad attitude?" Why is a PNM expected to accept a bid from a house she doesn't want to be in, but a house cannot be forced to take a PNM who ranked them #1 if they decide she's not good enough for them? The hypocrisy is unbelievable. The TRUTH is that for 90% of PNMs, there's nothing mutual about the selection process until pref night, and even then, the houses have the upper hand. Recruitment is a numbers game that is heavily skewed in the houses' favor. Are there a few unicorns who go into it without connections and have a good rush? Yes. But most of the top houses are competing for the same 150 girls, and everyone else ends up disappointed.
