Post Halloweekend Depression

Halloween is arguably one of the most exciting calendar holidays, from pumpkin spice everything coming back into season to costume themed date parties, there is something fun for everyone.  Yet, the fun must come to an end.  These are the stages of post Halloweekend depression.

Rotten Pumpkins
Though pumpkins are so much fun to carve, and are a staple of the Halloween spirit, they--like all good things--must come to an end; however, their end is particularly depressing as they transform from vibrant orange to a brown, disgusting mush.

Costumes
Halloween is the one time a year that it is exceptional to dress up IN PUBLIC and not be judged for it!  The next few days pale in comparison to the hype that was centered around making your costume the week prior! Now it’s just like…what do I do with the outfit and over-the-top accessories?
Candy
The holiday season is the most acceptable time of year to pig out on candy and not feel like you have to go to the gym to work it off!  However, there is an upside to Post Halloweekend Depression, all of the Halloween candy is ON SALE! SO MUCH CANDY!
Hangover
Halloween weekend is one of the biggest party weekends on a college campus. Many will just wake up and their body will feel defeated. Sleep it off. Just make sure you totally erase any remnants of your costume by class on Monday.
It’s a good thing that Christmas season closely follows Halloween, after all, November 1st marks the beginning of the Season.
