Studies stagger between conclusions on what Greek Life will look like in the future. Some even question whether there will be a future for the fun and traditional societies. The perception of students participating in Greek Life is becoming increasingly negative. If the leadership of Greek Life wants to continue the tradition, they must act soon.
These following steps are suggested so that the Leadership and members of Greek Life communities can spread Greek Life awareness or even improve the ecosystem:

Recognize their importance: Greeks have an important role to play in the community. Greek leadership blocks down administrative actions. Greek life is creative and original and carries on a long tradition. Finally, Greeks are known to do well philanthropically, promoting the well-fare of others and donating to good causes.

Greek’s must support the Institution’s Plan for Student Life: Greeks should incorporate programs that promote a diverse and creative student life, helping students have the full college experience that they hope for.
Greek’s should not Dominate the Student Life Agenda: Greeks can influence student life through interesting programs, however, they should not take charge and dominate student life.
Greek Life Should be Welcoming: Do Greeks have a broad recruitment policy to that consider the best pledges, regardless of race, religion, and economic background? Greeks should try to be unbiased, friendly, and welcoming.
The Faculty should be engaged: The faculty and administration should be engaged as mentors on an equal and confident foundation by the Greek Life Community.
Actions: The actions of the Greek Community should be consistent, quantifiable, broadly communicated, with a “no tolerance” policy on substance abuse, sexual misconduct, and psychological and social abuse.  With these Steps in mind, the future for the Greek Community may look more appealing and visible.
