rec letters
by: pnmgirlokay so I've heard from some people that sororities don't even bother reading recommendations from alumni but I've also heard that recs help you during rush. Can someone who's an active member please give me an honest answer about this?

Recs. do help!!! They are not the final word to wether you get a bid however, you are better off having them then not having them. Make sure they are sent to us well before rush so we can actually look at them and hopefully get to have a better idea about who you are. Do not worry or overwork yourself about recs. it is NOT the end of the world if you do not have them.
