lambda is dead.

Nationals kicked out 100+ members, all pledges have dropped, and the rest are likely disaffiliating. This was done without prompting by the school. Lambda Chi Alpha has always been a upstanding member of the Greek community and it is sad to see them go like this.
When will this crusade against fraternity life end? Fraternities are not clubs with houses. Brotherhood means something because it’s earned.

When will "the crusade" end? When fraternities start following the rules their nationals set. I assure you, if this is true this house was not kicked out for no reason. Nationals do not punish chapters in good standing who follow the rules and pay their dues. So if you want an explanation, ask the Lambda Chi officers what they did wrong. A strong brotherhood does what it can to keep existing. Lambda obviously didn't understand that.

to miz alum.
I couldnt agree with you more. The fraternities and their alum boards need to find a way to continue to engage actives of fraternity chapters after they complete sophomore year and move out of the house. The chapters need older student leadership and guidance.

Nationals overstep their bounds with all the rules they impose. If fraternities followed every rule that their Nationals set, there would be no alcohol, no parties, and every chapter would initiate instantly which also means they’re packed with goobers with a no sense of brotherhood. Fraternity life might as well not exist at that point.
