informal spring recruitment

hi, I'm wondering how informal recruitment works. I understand that not many house participate but when does spring recruitment start? I participated in formal recruitment and ended up dropping out on Friday. I was dropped from every house that I thought i really liked and on Friday morning i only had 2 remaining houses. I was terrified they too were going to drop me and i was so incredibly hurt and scared to not be wanted that I dropped. I still l want to be in a sorority and I have many friends that are in sororities. does it hurt me that I dropped? how does spring recruitment work? what are my chances of being considered again?
