Generalizing houses! My best friend is a GPhiB and she is brunette, not tan & a Bright Flight scholar! The only sterotype she lives up to is that she is very pretty & fun. BTW, I'm in a house that supposedly only cares about grades & isn't social!! What a joke! There are only about 12 girls in my house who aren't out tonight! You can't generalize 200+ girls!

God can't people just be nice? To the poster below me, it IS possible to say things nice about other chapters. Just because you don't embrace greek unity does not mean the rest of us do not either. I have friends in every chapter at MU, including G-Phi. The girls are wonderful, outgoing, involved, athletic, and welcoming. Maybe you should get to know some more people outside of your own little clique and learn something other than old stereotypes.

To the poster below me, you obviously aren't a GPhi, so what would you know about their sisterhood? I'm not saying I know any more than you do, but what I do know is that their "problems" with sisterhood happened over 4 years ago and things appear to be going well, starting with their 2008 pledge class which whether people want to admit it or not (or if you were even here at this time), they completely changed the chapter in the best way possible. Give them credit where it's due. Very involved, very athletic, and some of the friendliest girls out of the "party" houses.

Yes, they are pretty, but that is about it. They have no sisterhood, no respect and give a bad name to going greek.

I like G-Phi, I have a lot of friends in there and actually now live with 5 of them (as well as some Pi Phis, DGs, and Chi-Os). We all get along great. Everyone is fun yet respectful, caring, and welcoming to others. I really dislike people that can't just get along and embrace the positives about all of the greek women at MU.

I think that Gphi has done nothing but move in a positive direction the past few years. I haven't heard/seen them do anything bad...whereas other chapters at mizzou are going on and off probation. The serious problem with this house in the past was their probation issues but that hasn't happened in about 4 years. Good for them and hopefully they keep it up.

Could improve in grades and classiness, but they're not the worst. Really really nice girls, and very genuine despite what some people say about them.

I think that it is hilarious how the same people come on here and try to talk badly about GPhi (or others for that matter). I know that during recruitment I LOVED GPhi, as well as 2 other houses that cut me. I held a grudge and talked about how much I hated them, how worthless they are, "all they do is party." But after living in Jones and my years here at MU I have amazing friends in GPhi that completely break the stereotype they have. And on top of that, I have met a ton of their sisters who also break it. People think GPhi is all about looks and partying, but the women I know are intelligent, athletic, and involved. People just never recognize them for that, or they clearly do not know any GPhis.

To MY below post. (not very familiar w/this site, posted from phone while watching Cardinals game) & thus, ranked BACKWARDS! Bottom line-you simply cannot group 200+ girls into categories of "all blondes" "all boring" "all wild" etc! There are some of those in EVERY house! This site is even more ridiculous than I had been told! Happy Homecoming to all Greeks!
