@Mom, you and your daughter should hold the stupid freshman girls who broke the rules accountable for ruining the first semester for their entire new member class. You're still raising your daughter even though she has gone away to college; teach her that if she wants to be in an organization, or hold down a job, or not get arrested, that the rules and consequences get a lot bigger as you get older.

Pretty sure if you're caught with alcohol in any dorm you are in trouble with the school, sorority or not. And if you're lucky enough to get a bid to a sorority here and be told by them not to drink, and then go do it anyway, in your dorm, you have to be more than double stupid.

Just stop. Moms from up north are super helicopter and never hold their kids accountable. This why there are so many people at school who can’t cope or adjust to anything. It has changed so much since I started, and it is mostly with the up north or California people. I seriously can’t blv I’m reading this. This is UA . We have standards. We aren’t common. Being a helicopter parent is. This is not a school for common folk. Tell your kid to be a big girl and deal with it. Stop ruining it for us by sending someone who can’t take responsibility. Embarrassing. And omg don’t involved yourself with college drama.

i know for a fact many beautiful, smart, social girls without qr's were dropped by kappa in sisterhood and pref. Even sophomores, who they could already see had a successful first year academically and without questionable behavior and who would have been a better guarantee than any freshman were not invited to sisterhood or pref. Maybe kappa should have thought a bit better about who they brought to the pref round as it puts the whole sorority at risk.

Kappa was lucky they got caught with alcohol. Typical KKG active (and pnm) have substances that are illegal at any age and time. Well maybe not in Colorado!
But this is still easily dismissed by the OTM mommas and alumnae trolls on GR.
If the same happened on NR, the same trolls would be here noting all the QRS, slu—s and morally deprived girls these houses take and how this “proves” it.
It’s proof alright, y’all just have to look in the mirror.

it is being talked about on campus and in other sororities! Many obeyed the 24 hour rule and don't appreciate those who did not. And the fact these were freshman, already breaking the rules, while actives who were of legal drinking age obeyed. Total idiocy. Stop trying to make it look like it's a troll post kappa.

Idk my sorority doesn’t gossip about other houses and what goes on with them. It’s just not our business and we’re not concerned with what other houses do, maybe it’s mentioned by friends in passing but that’s it. What houses actually care enough about other houses to gossip about this that’s sad

Some jealous or misinformed person(s) called in some girls in Tut. The whole group of new members were put on temporary suspension until the university and nationals could investigate. It took about 10 days and they realized it was a huge farce. Kappa was able to continue with swaps and date parties as planned, albeit one. Being able to report anonymously is both a blessing and a curse.
