Ima be honest, Sigma Chi at Alabama is mediocre. They are comparable to pike or delta chi. They will never be like SAE or DKE though who have great houses and alumni.

Here is the absolute truth about Sigma Chi... They are all really nice guys, but you dont hear about them too much. Also they are held down by their house; Watch out for them though because theyre getting a new house and they have a really good pledge class this year... top 3 for sure

As a member of another fraternity at Alabama I've been around these guys a lot and there isn't anything bad to say. By the way no one cares if your old row people, and paying extra money to be "old row" does not make you a better group of guys or girls, it simply means you or your parents are willing to pay for it. There's a lot of good fraternities at the University of Alabama, old row or not. It's all about the brotherhood and girls of course, whether you go old row or not.
