things need to change
by: sadlosing PM and then PSS so close together does not bode well for greek life as a whole. at this rate whatever srat is seen as "bottom" will be gone within a few years as girls choose to drop rush rather than accept a bid at a bottom srat. maybe if we ranked srats in a more holistic way this wouldn't happen. like why is kappa ranked so high when everyone knows there is a core friend group in most MCs that is entitled and rude? PSS actually had mixers and were a nice group of girls (and some were quite good looking) it's a real shame that this happened to them while other houses have mean, backstabbing girls but get a ton of clout. and no, i'm not in PSS (or AXO or DDD) but i feel for these girls. kudos to those houses taking some of that PSS NMC in during COB.

It’s only been 3 years since PSS was ranked bottom because of Phi Mu being dropped and within that time that house went from 200 girls to less than 50. It’s so sad to see how much people care about reputation and rankings at this school and can’t just learn to have a good time:(

Well said. I completely agree, but if only we didn’t care about rankings, then things would really be better.
Clout chasers and mean girls- yes- many of them happen to be in kappa- always. Many of us are choosing to care, though.
I personally would never want to be in kappa, dg and a few others. Those houses don’t have a monopoly on good looks or style, they just have the common thread of clout chasing and insecurity. Most of them are basic and scared that god forbid they can’t put a “top house” on their insta bios. Also, despite being the most superficial, many of them are average looking girls dressed in expensive clothes.
There are great, pretty girls in other houses that I refuse to label as “lower” because they’re not.
Many of us have to decide to drown out the noise of the anonymous idiots on Greek rank and pick a house with all-around higher quality women

and for all those guys (and i have to believe it is guys) posting about which is the new "bottom" house - keep it up and see what happens! before you know it there will be very few srats left to mix with as fewer and fewer girls can get into srats. these houses can't fit more then about 40-45 girls a year no matter how many other houses fold.

soooo DDD used to be ranked pretty high and rankings have actually changed a lot over the years
if women join houses that are 'beneath' them, they could probably change the house for the better, and quickly
I sort of see both sides because it can be tough not to get caught up in reputation and things.

As challenging as the Cornell classes must be for you- don’t give up- lots of undeserving legacies triumph and graduate- many in just 4 years!
