Core Four mids?

The C4 mids are the four mid tier frats at Cornell. Called because for the last five or so years they have more or less stayed in the mid tier while others have moved up or gone down and are generally pretty consistent.
The general “ranks” are as follows
Pike | PhiTau
PSK
PiKapp
Pike is the most conventional frat. Used to bud a lot for the numbers but switched it up and took a higher quality class last spring and took a decent sized fall class
PhiTau is the chill/soft frat of the tier. Very chill nice guys. Bid the fewest guys amongst the four in rush. Took twenty plus last spring and followed up with another large class.
PSK is basically a hybrid between the first two. Give out a lot of bids and have done well in cross rush taking a ton of kids from pikapp last spring.
PiKapp was once the best of the four but have been getting killed in rush and have not taken good classes as of late. Solid sorority relations

Should be noted that while Phi Tau and Pike are considered relatively equal as of recent they bid wildly different kids and there isn’t that much cross rush between them. Very different houses.

There is actually significant cross rush between simply by the virtue of the fact that they are relatively equal. It just so happens that kids end up self selecting out so the rowdier more typical frat kids who want to throw down go to Pike while the chiller guys who want a closer brohood go to PhiTau.

PSK definitley in the mix but PiKapp clearly has better relations and throws more consistently
