zeta vs. gamma phi
by: hmmmWhile I was leaving Colonial Life today my roommate got a call (she dropped the process) from Zeta giving her a snap bid and inviting her to come to bid day... How is it possible that Zeta had to give snap bids because they didn’t make their quota but Gamma Phi has over 140 new members?

Snap bids are given quickly on bid day (in a snap, duh) to fill quota. The snap bids get to bid day festivities and no one but them knows they were snap bids. If after bid day a sorority still has not made quota OR is under total OR both, they can open bid. Everyone will obviously know these girls came from open bidding.

yeah not true snap bidding can happen at any point in time on bid day. My chapter had to call people last night and a lot of those girls had spoken to Zeta 10 minutes prior.
