every frat midteir?

It's because fraternities are such a small percentage of the student body and not exactly prominent in big leadership roles or academic societies, so their profile isn't exactly high. As much as I hate to say it, most of the guys who get university awards and into prestigious societies aren't fraternity men. Also, they keep on getting in trouble for one stupid thing or another, so someone's always "falling."

Those organizations you mentioned in Mays does contain greek men. The only reason there isn't many greeks in those programs is because we as a whole are fewer in numbers compared to the general overall student population. Look at the ratios, not just the numbers.

I didn't say Greeks are nonexistent did I? And I specifically cited Mays because Greeks comprise a much larger percentage of Business students than the "general overall student population," wouldn't you agree?
I think you and I are in the same boat, and can agree that greater participation in A&M's elite programs would be beneficial to Greeks as a whole. I can't see why you would attempt to defend the status quo as somewhat sufficient when raising our profile campus-wide should be one of our shared goals. However, I will say that I think these are my last words on the matter. I've enjoyed chatting with you today, so I'll say goodbye.

What are you talking about? I don't think you even addressed the question. And secondly a greek student nearly won SBP like two years ago and there are numerous fraternity men in the student senate. Those are definitely leadership roles.
