Yes, it is always like this. You are going through recruitment at a HUGE school in the SEC. It will not be easier next year and you will have missed out on an entire year of sorority life. It takes only one house to make a home. Stay at it, be positive and remember that each girl that finds a house is lucky to be there.

No don’t drop!! At least wait it out until pref or even bid day if you decide to not accept. Give it a chance because you might be surprised by the girls you still have yet to meet :) as long as you tell yourself that it all happens for a reason, your experience will be so much better

Did you get recs for every chapter? Do you know actives from high school? If so, honestly - how is your reputation? Unweighted GPA was strong, right?

Those are the big 3 things that most chapters cut for after Open House. Before considering dropping and re-rushing again later, honestly answer those three questions. For example - If you didn’t get recs or didn’t have people who know you well write them, that’s an easy fix for next time.

A&M rush is very competitive and all of the PNMs are highly qualified. You haven’t even met the actives yet so be careful not to pick favorites because those are based on rumors/ social media not actual personal connections. Consider sticking with the process to see if you find your home this fall.
