You are probably wondering why you got dropped from recruitment. You may feel worthless or you may feel as if you don’t belong. I just want to remind you that you are beautiful and you are more than worthy of finding a group of girls who will accept you for who you are. I know getting rejected by these sororities is tough because you created an illusion that you thought would last a life time. You probably had amazing conversations with these girls. But at the end of the day you have to realize your worth. You can not compare yourself to these girls and fake a personality just to be in their “sisterhood”. The process is stupid and it’s ridiculous to know how the recruitment team and sororities give you the expectation of finding a home. It’s not worth it and they don’t deserve you. Please realize your worth and join an organization on campus. I’m almost 100% positive the organization on campus will welcome you with open arms.

Sincerely,
A PNM who was also rejected

You are awesome! I can’t imagine how someone who sounds as smart and caring and positive as you could be cut. You are 100% correct that you are worth more than any Sorority and that you will find open arms in many places at A&M.

Thank you. I’m a strong believer on why things happen for a reason. Clearly god has better plans for me.

Go through cob or even be open to accepting a snap bid! Y’all will find your place and I truly hope it’s in the Greek system. If it is that is 100% ok!

I just answered on the Snap Bid thread and covered both how Snaps and COB work.

Yes. If you’re offered a snap bid, take it!! Even if it’s for a house that wasn’t your first or second choice. At the end of the day, they all offer friendships and fun experiences so give it a chance.

Can we please stop offering up “take a snap bid” as a solution here? Snaps are incredibly rare. The odds of 1+ chapter not making quota + this particular PNM being on that chapter’s snap bid list are basically zero.

I feel like this gives false hope to women who have dropped out or were released.
