don't's during recruitment

Don't try too hard trying to make a "good" impression. Be natural. Be yourself. This way, you'll be accepted for who you are. Trying to make a certain type of impression will be hard to keep up for 2-4 years. ;-) .

Bumping this to the top because it is quite helpful.

Don't tent talk. That's the gossip and innuendo that some girls do in tents between parties, dorm rooms after the parties, and even GR during recruitment. In fact, don't listen to what anyone has to say about the houses between now and then.

You don't want other people to make up your mind for you and you don't want to be responsible for influencing someone else to go against their instincts.

Anytime you say that one house is "better," "ranked higher,"more desirable," etc., you're participating in something that goes against EVERYTHING that panhellenic stands for.

So think before you give advice to a girl who says she doesn't know whether to take Chi O or AOII, don't say one's on top and one's on the bottom. That may not be true for them.

Incoming girls need to read this one

Do not think you know where you will end up before the process begins
Do not act discouteous to any house
Do not talk about controversial topics
Do not dress sleazy
Do not forget you are the one needing a house not those welcoming you
Do not be fake because fake is hard to pull off for 4 years
Do not talk bad about any group

Most of these things you would expect a girl to know but it was still a good review
