Summer 2022 Frat Rankings + Info for incoming studen

The “Top frats” at TCU are largely considered the following (no particular order)..

Sig ep- Top frat at TCU very social group and good connections with top sororities most recent Pledge class is very close with PI Phi, a lot of California guys but trying to change that, throw good events that typically have good turnouts. definitely a solid option to rush, but like the other top frats very selective.

Sig Nu- the newest of the top houses, they’ve risen to fame with the past few Pledge classes being top quality, The signus or Snus are known for being attractive and typically pretty rich kinda from all over but seem to be getting at lot more California recently. The most recent Pledge classes have become very close with Delta Gamma. Despite being a very social frat with good events they also do well academically, very work hard play hard mindset.
Side note the Signus have also gained quite a bit of power on campus with the chancellor of TCU and the student body president being a signu.

Lambda- status as a top frat at TCU is now questioned due to the recent troubles of the fraternity and the fraternity seems to be falling and will continue to do so unless lambda makes some changes and improvements, yet due to their previously made connections they can still claim the title of being a top frat at TCU. Mostly wealthy California kids, some good guys some douches, they have enormous potential but they’re losing respect. They have good sorority relations but tend to beef a lot with other fraternities. Known for some great parties and tailgates and still maintain good connections with top sororities.

The Good frats are the following
Pi Kapp- formerly a top frat at TCU but unfortunately has fallen since then, but they still have a good amount of respect from both sororities and other fraternities, known for good philanthropy and also tend to be rather academic.
Kappa Sig- the best of the southern frats at TCU, a very solid frat at tcu with decent events and respect, def the best southern option to rush although recently some southerners have been looking at other frats.

The decent frats..
Sigma Chi- has been seeing improvements in recents years with the introductions of some good Pledge classes, have a reputation of being “Stoners”, they maintain a decent reputation and seem to be getting better and better slowly but surely, but will need to work harder to build relations with top sororities.

Beta- the most academic frat, also typically has quite a lot of very Christian guys (Sig Nu and pi kapp also tend to have a good amount of Christian guys) the betas are known for being good guys and “husband material” but not the most social fraternity, they mostly affiliate with Theta and Chi o. Nice guys, good option to rush if academics Is a primary focus for your college experience.

SAE- another southern fraternity, affiliates mostly (or almost exclusively) with DDD. They tend to be pretty wealthy, they are kinda the lesser southern frat compared to Kappa sig.

The low
Fiji- working to improve and have some quality guys but also tend to have some weirdos in their Pledge classes that bring down the reputation, if they can build better sorority relations they have potential for improvement.

Delt- has some really nice guys, this frat isn’t most guys first option, so typically the pledge classes they get aren’t great, they hang around pretty average sororities
