wanna be

by: KD

I live in Texas and am scared of not getting a bid because I'm not from Mississippi. There are several kd's from my hometown who have been texting me and wanting to hang out all summer. They have already told me that they want me to be a KD and assured me that I've got a bid if I want it.

Should I trust them? .

Kd's alumni and super involved in who gets a bid and who doesn't. Don't put all your eggs in one basket.

that should help you out a lot, i heard that kd has already had their bid list made so if they are telling you that you are on it then you probs are, but anyways, becoming a kd is not going to be one of the greatest things to ever happen to you, there are far more things at ole miss then being in "top" seat

Dirty rushing at its finest! NOBODY CAN GUARANTEE YOU A BID! Especially sophomore actives!

Don't be worried about being from Texas. A lot of girls in top tier are from Texas, including KD. But do not trust them to be able to automatically get you a bid... No one can guarantee that

KD LOVES to promise bids, it's just their way of making sure everyone ranks them number 1 throughout rush. Still be nice to the girls obviously, and who knows, they could know what they're talking about. But given KD's reputation, don't take what they say too seriously. Tons of girls HATE KD because they were promised bids throughout rush and on bid day were met with a surprise

no no no no no don't trust them! go through rush with an open mind and you will get a bid but there's no guarantee it'll be KD

...committing to ANY sorority...particularly from OOS...is risky... and if you ALREADY know who you're pledging...why take up valuable space...leave it for pnms eager and excited to rush...
