recs for top tier sororities

Would it be ridiculous/desperate to have 4 letters of rec for a sorority that you would really consider wanting to be in when you don't have the best gpa?

4...14...24 recs won't do you much good if you have a very low GPA. All depends on how low you mean. Hopefully you have incredible extra curricular and leadership activities on your resume to make up for it.
