Rush as a minority

Is the lack of diversity in sororities due to that not many people of color rush or that they get cut? Is it hard to rush being a minority, I don't see nearly any diversity in a few of the houses? I'm going to be joining Ole Miss in the fall of 2020, and am I guess afraid to rush. I have all the recommenced amount of recs for each sorority, and know a few people in several sororities. But am still intimated and unsure.

I’m pretty sure not many people of color choose to rush through Panhellenic. They usually go through Pan-Hellenic. I can guarantee you will NOT be cut because skin color. Please, if you want to rush, please do. Don’t be nervous!!!

Hi! I’m a minority and went through CPH rush, and I got a bid from my top house! It wasn’t super easy, though; I didn’t have a full schedule for every single round, and it felt like I stood out too much. But, I found my home & everything worked out in the end!! Just be yourself!

I don’t think that being a minority will hurt your chances at all. If you want to rush then please do! Also pretty much no one has a full schedule each and every round so don’t worry about that.
