madison central is probably the best public high school in state, but the private schools around jackson are better, so the ones at madison central actually end up in mid to low tier. Quite a few went APhi last year.
Jackson prep/academy might act like they run ole miss, but the truth is they know who their daddy is (st. andrews). Prep/Academy are very cheap private schools ($8K a year). St Andrews is over $30K a year, and is the only high school in state where you have several people leave the state for good private colleges.
Oak Grove, Biloxi, Ocean Springs, Tupelo, Oxford, Desoto Central aren't as good as madison central, but they are in areas where there are either no private schools or the private schools suck and the public schools are better. Quite a few people from these schools end up in top tier, but very few (I don't personally know any) madison central girls in top tier

A lot go Chi O, a few go DDD and KD (not as many as in the past), not as many go DG as they used to, more have gone Phi Mu than in the past, Kappa usually gets like 1-2, AOPi doesn't usually get any, Pi Phi sometimes gets like 2-3, ADPi has a few I think, Theta has maybe like 4 in the whole chapter, and Alpha Phi actually has a lot. Especially in this most recent pledge class. Usually every sorority (at least like 9 of the 11) get MC girls every year. Chi O, DDD, KD, Phi Mu, and Alpha Phi probably have the most rn. I think this past year Chi O got like ~5, DDD got like ~2, and KD got like ~3, year before that Chi O and DDD each got like ~3 and KD didn't get any. It really just varies
APhi's current president went to MC. One of Chi O's rush chairs in 2017 and their president like 3ish years ago went to MC. DG's rush chair in 2016 went to MC. There are prob more big positions like this filled by MC girls in recent years that I'm not thinking of. Not a lot but there's definitely some representation from MC in Ole Miss sororities
Also lol that @teacher said there aren't any MC girls in top tiers. I could name you a bunch. Probably around 10 in each of the top houses which is kind of a lot considering most MC kids go to MSU (it's like high school all over again)

Interesting to see Mississippians trying to feel superior to other Mississippians. This is wrong on just so many levels, but very entertaining for non Mississippians.
